About the Role

Siemens Mobility is a leading provider of transport solutions, with a rich history of innovation in the rail industry. As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge electronic systems for our railway solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of communication boards and electronic equipment for field elements control in the railway industry.
  • Conduct laboratory testing to verify the design and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assume responsibility throughout the entire hardware development cycle, including requirements specification, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with an international and multidisciplinary development team to drive innovation and research on new technologies applied to products.
Requirements
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent subjects, with a specialization in Electronics.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Professional experience in analogue electronics design, with desired experience in digital electronics design, particularly microprocessors and FPGAs.
  • Experience in laboratory tasks, including knowledge of common electronic equipment and debug tools.
  • Knowledge of electronic circuits technology, including board design, development and simulation tools, FPGAs, and microcontrollers.
