About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our Ground Segment Network Team at GMV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying communication networks for satellite navigation systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with experience in routing and switching, network security, and virtualization. You will work closely with our team to provide support for the installation and configuration of hardware networks, as well as the design and implementation of virtualized networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement communication networks for satellite navigation systems
  • Provide support for the installation and configuration of hardware networks
  • Design and implement virtualized networks
  • Integrate network systems
  • Validate network systems
  • Travel to support network deployments and maintenance
Requirements
  • Strong background in network engineering
  • Experience in routing and switching
  • Experience in network security devices (firewalls, hardening, etc.)
  • Experience in administration of Linux-based systems
  • Experience in VMWare-based virtualization architectures
  • Experience in troubleshooting (Wireshark, tcpdump)
  • Experience in structured wiring
  • Experience in complex IT network systems (design, testing, upgrades)
