About the Role

SSE plc is a leading energy company committed to a low-carbon future. We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Management & Reporting Analyst to support our ambitious growth strategy and net-zero transition.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our European business and contribute to the development of renewable energy projects across Southern Europe. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient portfolio management, reporting, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project approval processes and ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting materials, including papers and presentations, to support business decision-making.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to local teams across different approval streams.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of systems and processes for generating management information and reports.
  • Support the management team in monitoring business key indicators and implementing agreed-upon actions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar reporting or analytical role within the renewable energy sector or a relevant project development environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish (at least B2 level) to present to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Abilities in continuous improvement and project management, showcasing proactive and innovative approaches as an independent contributor and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with Office Package & Programming tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power BI.
  • Willingness to undertake local and international travel as necessary for project-related purposes.
