Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure seamless meeting and event execution.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
- Manage meeting and event budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and supplier relationships.
- 3-4 years of experience in hotel buying or a related field.
- Proven negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with knowledge of domestic hotels and destinations.
- Experience with online sourcing tools, such as Cvent and Meeting Central, is a plus.
- Operations experience in the hospitality industry or equivalent is a benefit.
