Head of Global Security Operations

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Global Security Operations to join our team at Institut Straumann AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our information security operations and ensuring the alignment of our security strategy with our business objectives, legislative requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Security Operations Center (SOC) partnership with our external service provider to perform information security monitoring and threat analysis.
- Own the security incident management program and serve as the primary contact between the SOC and internal security response teams for information security incidents.
- Develop and implement effective security operations processes and procedures to ensure the protection of our organization's assets and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security into our business operations and strategic planning.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and oversight to a globally distributed team of security professionals.
- Define and embed a culture of highly visible, responsive, and effective service provision with our SOC provider.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and facilitate effective collaborations with other teams.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage resources within a collaborative team-based environment, including rapid response to incidents, threats, and new technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading a security operations function in an enterprise environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position with at least 10 years of experience in Information/Application Security.
- Various security certifications such as ECIH, GCIH, CISA, and CISSP are preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification/knowledge is mandatory.
- ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC2 knowledge is a must.
- A good understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA is beneficial.
