As the Head of Global Security Operations at Institut Straumann Ag, you will play a critical role in leading the team responsible for delivering information security operations elements of the information security strategy. This position requires a technical security professional with strong leadership skills, who can build effective relationships and possess an excellent knowledge of information security operations within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the SOC partnership with the external service provider in performing information security monitoring and threat analysis.
- Own the security incident management program, serving as the primary contact between the SOC and internal security response teams for information security incidents.
- Develop and implement technical IT security baselines and remediation strategies.
- Provide leadership, motivation, challenge, and oversight to a globally distributed expert technical team in a matrix, decentralized reporting structure.
- Define and embed a culture of highly visible, responsive, and effective service provision with the SOC provider.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate effectively with other teams.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage resources within a collaborative team-based environment, including rapid response to incidents, threats, and new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a comparable field.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading a security operations function in an enterprise environment.
- At least 3 years in a comparable position with at least 10 years' experience in Information/Application Security.
- Variety of security certifications such as ECIH, GCIH, CISA, and CISSP.
- ITIL Foundation certification/knowledge is mandatory.
- ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC2 knowledge is a must.
- Good understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA regulations.
