Head of Global Security Operations

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Global Security Operations to join our team at Straumann Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the security operations function and ensuring the effective implementation of our information security strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the security operations team in delivering information security operations elements of the information security strategy.
- Ensure alignment with Straumann Group objectives, legislative requirements, and industry good practice.
- Collaborate with the external service provider to perform information security monitoring and threat analysis.
- Own the security incident management program and serve as the primary contact between the SOC and internal security response teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including internal teams and external partners.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and oversight to a globally distributed technical team in a matrix, decentralized reporting structure.
- Define and embed a culture of highly visible, responsive, and effective service provision with the SOC provider.
- Manage resources, prioritize tasks, and respond to incidents, threats, and new technologies in a collaborative team-based environment.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills, manage multiple projects under strict timelines, and meet overall objectives.
- Ensure high levels of personal integrity, handle confidential matters, and demonstrate appropriate judgment and maturity.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, breach notification principles, and data privacy regulations in a global context.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, or a comparable field.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading a security operations function in an enterprise environment.
- At least 3 years in a comparable position with at least 10 years' experience in Information/Application Security.
- Various security certifications such as ECIH, GCIH, CISA, and CISSP would be preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification/knowledge is mandatory.
- ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC2 knowledge is a must.
- A good understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA regulations would be beneficial.
