Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our global team in Technology. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Delivery Engineering team and driving the development of high-quality technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Delivery Engineering Team
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Drive Technical Excellence
    • Develop and maintain technical standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across the team.
    • Identify and address technical debt, ensuring that the team's work is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to understand customer needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business objectives and customer experiences.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Measure and Drive Delivery and Quality Improvements
    • Develop and implement metrics and analytics to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
    • Identify and address quality issues, ensuring that the team's work meets business objectives and customer needs.
  • Build Innovative Solutions
    • Develop and implement innovative technical solutions that meet business requirements and customer needs.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new technologies and tools.
    • Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring that the team's work is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead and Influence Teams
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in agile practices.
    • Demonstrable experience of leadership in complex, cross-company projects to deliver operational improvements.
    • Strong engineering background acquired during a previous hands-on development role.
    • Managerial and leadership skills, able to motivate and lead personal development plans for employees.
    • Driving change and handling difficult situations.
    • Dealing with change on a daily basis.
    • Ability to demonstrate the value of changes introduced.
    • Proven communication skills.
    • Strong command of the English language - written and spoken.
