Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our team at Merkle UK. As a Senior Campaign Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their goals through enriching customer experiences using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Migrate and implement campaigns from one tool to another, working closely with clients to capture, document, and translate business requirements into actionable tasks.
  2. Design and develop new campaign briefs, journeys, diagrams, and campaign lifecycle documentation for both colleagues and clients.
  3. Understand and demonstrate excellent knowledge of client data requirements and availability to support campaign execution during workshops, meetings, and daily activities.
  4. Encourage best practice campaign process adoption, including campaign RACI and ways of working.
  5. Lead on QA, testing, proofing, and peer review tasks.
  6. Provide training and support to colleagues, including desk-side support, custom campaign training, technical skills assessment, and benchmarking.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry news, optimization techniques, controls, measurement, DPA, and privacy.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience manipulating, segmenting, selecting data, and activating customers through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience leading migration projects from start to finish.
  • Experience assessing client requirements, providing recommendations, and estimating the cost of delivery.
  • Experience with relational data and database marketing, campaign, and reporting tools.
  • Good team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly.
  • Previous experience in managing a small campaign team is desirable.
