Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Product Development Engineer to join our team at Otis Elevator Co. As a key member of our international team, you will play a crucial role in rolling out a manufacturing execution system globally. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with the product owner, maintaining and updating configuration and test development tools, and leading new product launches. You will be responsible for identifying and coordinating appropriate resources, determining project scope, and managing and communicating project news, timelines, deliverables, issues, risk, and success metrics. Additionally, you will design and update documentation support, identify, design, and document test cases, and work closely with Product and Engineering teams for bug resolution or feature improvement requests. Responsibilities

• Participate in an international team rolling out a manufacturing execution system globally
• Maintain and update configuration and test development tools
• Lead new product launches through the identification and coordination of appropriate resources, determination of project scope, and managing and communicating project news, timelines, deliverables, issues, risk, and success metrics
• Design and update documentation support
• Identify, design, and document test cases
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams for bug resolution or feature improvement requests
• Anticipate how feature/product changes may impact on Customer experience on the understanding of their usage and plans
• Backing QA activities by automated test data generation
• Support root-cause analysis of bugs
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Sales, Quality, and Operations functions to satisfy the overall management of new program
• Strategize an outline goals and objectives of the program
• Monitor profitability of projects and ensures expected targets are achieved

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Product Development Engineer with a strong background in engineering, preferably with a degree in industrial, mechanic, or similar field. You should have at least 2 years of experience in similar positions, with a strong interest in IT and programming tasks. Additionally, you should have experience in customer-oriented projects, project management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Visual Basic, AutoCAD, and Power BI is desirable. You should be fluent in English (C1 level) and Spanish (C2 level), and have a good understanding of additional languages such as French, German, or Italian.
