Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Energy Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for collaborating with local and corporate teams to develop optimized engineering designs for wind projects. Your expertise will ensure technical suitability and economic efficiency in our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop designs for wind projects, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with EDPR standards.
- Supervise the technical adequacy of designs, ensuring compliance with EDPR standards and project-specific conditions.
- Provide specialized technical support in tender processes, ensuring the best technical-economic conditions for awarding.
- Coordinate and validate key studies for integration into engineering projects, minimizing construction process risks.
- Establish relationships with main suppliers and providers to include efficient technical and economic options in engineering designs.
- Assure the application of common standards in studies and projects, adapting to local regulations to maximize investment efficiency.
- Represent EDPR in matters relating to its jurisdiction, enforcing the company's interests.
Requirements
- Minimum Engineering Degree or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- 5-8 years of experience in design, redaction, and revision of wind farm projects, with experience in managing and supervising engineering projects.
- Civil and/or Electrical expertise, with knowledge of normative and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Map, and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
