Job Title: Senior Wind Engineer

EDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, with a strong presence in 28 markets worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of engineering designs for wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with local and corporate teams to develop engineering designs for wind projects, ensuring optimal designs and technical specifications.
  • Create and implement best practices in engineering, including policies, processes, and procedures to improve business performance.
  • Manage and supervise engineering projects, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with EDPR standards.
  • Coordinate with providers and suppliers to ensure efficient technical and economic options for engineering designs.
  • Represent EDPR in matters related to wind energy development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in design, redaction, and revision of wind farm projects.
  • Experience in managing and supervising engineering projects, including coordination of providers.
  • Civil and/or Electrical expertise, with knowledge of normative and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Infraworks, with experience in wind turbine assembly strategy and Excel.
  • Fluency in German and English, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
