Job Title: Senior Wind Engineer

EDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering designs for wind projects.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and compliance with EDPR standards and project-specific conditions.
  • Provide specialized technical support in tender processes and assist in the adjudication negotiation to guarantee the best technical-economic conditions.
  • Coordinate and validate key studies for integration into engineering projects.
  • Establish relationships with main suppliers and providers to include efficient technical and economical options in engineering designs.
  • Apply common standards in studies and projects, supervising adaptation to local regulations.
  • Represent EDPR to agencies and institutions, enforcing the company's interests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Engineering Degree; Master's Degree recommended.
  • 5-8 years of experience in design, redaction, and revision of wind farm projects.
  • Experience in managing and supervising engineering projects.
  • Coordination of providers.
  • Civil and/or Electrical Expertise.
  • Normative and regulations knowledge.
  • AutoCAD Map, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM, Infraworks, Wind turbine assembly strategy, and Excel Intermediate skills.
  • German or English language proficiency.
