Job Title: Senior Wind Engineer

EDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, with a strong presence in 28 markets worldwide. As a Senior Wind Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of engineering designs for wind farms, ensuring technical suitability and economic efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with local and corporate teams to develop engineering designs for wind farms, ensuring compliance with EDPR standards and project-specific conditions.
  • Manage and supervise engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate with providers and suppliers to ensure the inclusion of efficient technical and economic options in engineering designs.
  • Apply common standards in studies and projects, adapting to local regulations to maximize investment efficiency.
  • Represent EDPR in matters relating to its jurisdiction, enforcing the company's interests.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Engineering Degree, preferably with a Master's Degree.
  • 5-8 years of experience in design, redaction, and revision of wind farm projects.
  • Experience in managing and supervising engineering projects, coordination of providers, and application of common standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Infraworks, and Excel.
  • Fluency in German and English.
