At Destinus, we're revolutionizing transportation with near-space vehicles and infrastructure. As a Stress Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of aviation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop mechanical/structural systems for subsonic/supersonic and hypersonic flights
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines to resolve new issues
  • Perform detailed structural and thermal analyses, and sizing of aerospace structures, components, and systems
  • Guide structural optimization and design improvements
  • Deliver detailed FEM models, technical reports, and presentations
Requirements:
  • BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience as an aerospace stress engineer
  • FEM experience with Nastran, stress hand calculation/analytical methods, and Matlab
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of English, Dutch, Spanish, French, or German is an advantage
