Join Our Team as a Stress Engineer

At Destinus, we're pushing the boundaries of aviation by developing hydrogen-powered hypersonic vehicles. As a Stress Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed structural and thermal analyses to ensure the integrity of aerospace structures and components.
  • Guide structural optimization and design improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Deliver detailed FEM models for analysis, from GFEM to detailed analysis.
  • Define sizing loads and load cases for scoping detailed analysis.
  • Support ground and flight tests to validate design and performance.
  • Deliver technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience as an aerospace stress engineer.
  • FEM experience with Nastran, including model building, analysis, postprocessing, and debugging.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of English is required; knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, French, or German is an advantage.
