Strategic Group Lead for Special Projects

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Lead to head our Special Projects Team focused on critical topics of spare parts procurement within our Global Service Spare parts Management area.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an intercultural team of 5 White Collar employees.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Special Projects Team.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for special projects, aligning with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Champion the use of Design Thinking methodologies to drive innovative solutions.
- Identify and implement best practices in spare parts procurement and supply chain management.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Special Projects Team and senior management, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes effectively to all stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- You have 6 years of experience in supply chain management, project and process management.
- You have a Master's degree in business administration, Economics or Engineering, preferably with a focus on supply chain management or logistics.
- You have several years of professional experience in the areas of material planning, demand management, tactical procurement as well as supplier management.
- You are fluent in English; ideally also Spanish and/or German on a good level.
- You have experience of leadership as well as deep knowledge in project, lean and change management.
- You are a motivated and committed personality with a high degree of drive and ownership.
- You have excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- You have strong customer orientation and ability to work in an international team.
- You have experience in working with different business cultures and building strong personal relationships.
- You have profound knowledge of SAP ECC (mainly module MM) and MS Office, additional expertise in SAP S/4 Hana and Teamcenter would be beneficial.
- You are willing to travel regularly, especially between our company locations.
