We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our technical projects and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of large technical projects within budget and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities- Project Execution: Oversee the execution of large technical projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals from various departments, including Central engineering, Claim Management, spare parts, production, and global Service organization.
- Root Cause Analysis: Drive root cause process and define, assess, and align dedicated solutions with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to enhance claims towards suppliers and ensure transparency in cost-effectiveness and risk mitigation.
- Progress Reporting: Work within Nordex processes to manage and report progress on projects with a monthly status report.
- Handover and Representation: Facilitate a smooth handover to colleagues within the Service organization in different countries and represent the Nordex organization to our clients.
- Technical Background: Hold a Master's degree in engineering.
- Project Management Experience: Possess project management experience, preferably in the wind energy sector and in turnkey projects.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership skills, team forming skills, and the ability to create a strong, successful, and enjoyable team.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: Possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, especially with customers or suppliers.
- Technical Skills: Have good MS Office knowledge and SAP experience is desirable.
- Cultural Adaptability: Ability to work in different business cultures.
- Travel: Willingness to go on business trips from time to time.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English.
