Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Sales Manager, UWS to join our Global UWS Sales team, on a permanent contract, for our office in Valencia, Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and customer-facing roles, with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate customer-specific solutions, specifications, and quotations according to the needs of the client for the Wartsila Underwater Services portfolio.
- Bid management and solution configuration according to defined needs.
- Preparation of cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets.
- Evaluation of technical and environmental risks of the solution.
- Ensuring timely response to sales inquiries/requests/orders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work in a multicultural and international business environment.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A technical education or equivalent qualifications combined with relevant experience.
- Experience in a customer-facing role with responsibility for collating costs and invoices.
- Excellent organizational skills and customer empathy.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrable teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory. Living or working in the vicinity of our office in Valencia, Spain, is also a requirement.
