Senior Kamailio VoIP Engineer

BICS is a leading international communications enabler, connecting the world through reliable and secure mobile experiences. We are seeking a seasoned Kamailio VoIP Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement highly available best-in-class VoIP routing solutions using Kamailio framework.
  • Collaborate with software developer engineers and BICS Engineering to ensure optimal usage of Kamailio server in the project.
  • Contribute to the creation of testing environments for automation and validation.
  • Deploy and support validation and commissioning processes in production.
  • Automate operations tasks, including installation, monitoring, and off-hour deployment and maintenance works.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience with SIP and other voice protocols.
  • Demonstrable solid experience in Kamailio framework, with ability to create and write modules.
  • Experience in designing and deploying highly available and scalable VoIP infrastructures across different data centers.
  • Experience with Linux environments and VoIP testing tools (functional, load, and performance testing).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps principles and tools (Gitlab, Ansible, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
  • Programming experience with Java, C, Python, and shell script.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB).
