Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled VoIP Engineer to join our Programmable Communications Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, real-time communications solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable VoIP infrastructure using open-source SIP technologies (FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VoIP solutions with other Aircall products and services
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable code using Typescript and containerized environments (Docker, K8S)
  • Work with AWS in a production environment, designing and deploying high-volume, high-availability services
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, contributing to code reviews, automated testing, and deployment activities
Requirements
  • Proven experience with RTC architecture, VoIP-related protocols (SIP, RTP), and open-source SIP technologies
  • Strong background in Typescript development, with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, K8S) and AWS in a production environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team
