Job Title: UX Researcher

We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our team at Dow Jones, Inc. in Barcelona, Spain.

About the Role:

The UX Researcher will be responsible for conducting user research to inform the design of our B2B products, including Dow Jones Factiva, Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, and Dow Jones Newswires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with UX Architects, UX Designers, and key partners to define outstanding end-to-end user experiences for our B2B audience.
  • Contribute to overall B2B product direction in collaboration with other functional area leads by delivering actionable evaluations of proposed and current UX solutions.
  • Play an integral role in centralizing and organizing user insights in a knowledge repository.
  • Report on current projects and use of resources.
  • Coordinate testing with third-parties and internal teams.
  • Demonstrate all product-related UX documentation with sound and clearly communicated rationale.
  • Take part in research and insight communication across a multidisciplinary team throughout each phase of a project.
  • Stay informed with UX research trends and techniques, and proactively pursue knowledge for professional development.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on how UX can best achieve business goals supporting UX strategy and overall best practices for user experience.
  • Facilitate hands-on problem-solving sessions, events, and workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Supply in-depth research reports that help with decision-making.
  • Answer questions on product experience, including behaviors, pain points, and ideas for improvement.
  • Answer questions on treatment of content, including formats, features, and layout/structure, ease of use.
  • Answer questions on customer journeys - how people move through our products and how we can optimize this.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
