**About the Role**

Ricardo Plc is a global leader in strategic, environmental, and engineering consulting. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a safe and sustainable world.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Monitor market developments and provide input to company business development activities to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain close client and partner relationships to support the winning of new business.
  • Contribute to complex proposals and lead simpler ones.
  • Lead and manage medium-sized projects and budgets or tasks within larger projects.
  • Support the delivery of projects, working within teams to achieve client satisfaction, timely delivery, strong project financial performance, and high-quality technical outputs.
  • Participate in capacity building activities, including workshop facilitation and presentation delivery.

**Requirements**

  • Strong knowledge of climate change mitigation policy areas, including international climate change agreements, national mitigation policy instruments, industry sectoral incentives, energy markets, and innovation technologies and funding.
  • Experience in technical delivery of policy projects, including analysis, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and report writing.
  • Business development experience, including competitive bidding, client and partner relationship management, and participation in promotional events.
  • Ability to manage medium-sized consortium bids and lead or work on proposals for clients such as development banks, the European Commission, and national governments.
