UAV Design Engineer

At ARQUIMEA, we are seeking a talented UAV Design Engineer to join our team in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid. As a key member of our Aerospace Defence Security department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing UAV systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop UAV platforms, including aerodynamic and systems design.
  • Prepare technical and manufacturing documentation for UAV platforms.
  • Assemble prototypes and prepare test plans for UAV systems.
Requirements:
  • Aeronautical or industrial engineering degree.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in UAV platforms.
  • Proficiency in Catia or SolidWorks design software.
  • Knowledge of aerodynamic calculations and flight mechanics.
  • Knowledge of assembly, manufacturing, and maintenance processes for UAV platforms.
  • Knowledge of drone piloting and aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5 / FLUENT / OPENFOAM) is valued.
  • Level B2-C1 English language proficiency.
