Position Overview
The Treasury Specialist will report directly to the Shared Service Treasury Manager.
We are seeking an individual who will ensure effective cash management across subsidiaries, providing solutions tailored to the financial needs of the organization while adhering to established financial policies.
We require a flexible, open-minded team player who thrives under pressure, particularly during critical periods such as financial closings and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
BANK STATEMENT MANAGEMENT
• Oversee the accurate reception and uploading of bank statements into SAP, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Serve as the primary operational contact with banks for bank statement management.
• Control and post all treasury-related transactions loaded into SAP.
• Ensure compliance with treasury accounting standards set by the group.
OPERATIONAL TASKS
• Process payments, collections, payrolls, and tax obligations.
• Enforce agreed-upon banking conditions.
• Maintain effective communication with subsidiaries.
• Manage endorsements, guarantees, and parent guarantees.
• Liaise with both internal and external auditors.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely financial closings (monthly and annually).
• Oversee the management of company cards (travel, T&E, petty cash, virtual cards).
• Submit promissory notes to financial institutions.
ANALYTICAL DUTIES
• Monitor subsidiary liquidity, including cash flow and both external and internal debt.
• Provide solutions to cash flow challenges faced by subsidiaries.
• Experience in foreign exchange trading is advantageous.
• Conduct financial forecasting.
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the treasury sector, with knowledge of Asian markets considered a plus.
• Familiarity with payment methods, including corporate card programs, virtual cards, petty cash cards, and fintech solutions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or Economics.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
• Required Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word), and SWIFT.
