About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead our growth efforts in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various outpatient eye centers, developing strategies to achieve our growth targets, and ensuring outstanding treatment quality and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the efficient and smooth operation of multiple outpatient eye centers in Spain.
  • Take on temporary management positions within centers to identify and develop local center management.
  • Coordinate with senior physicians to develop strategies for growth, considering surgical practice requirements.
  • Implement process optimization and quality management measures to ensure excellent treatment quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for further growth in collaboration with the central Sanoptis marketing team.
  • Lead and develop a team of local center managers to create a dynamic work environment where talent is nurtured.
  • Regularly produce comprehensive reports on site performance metrics, progress, and challenges, communicating effectively with the Country Head, Board members, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in a management position, preferably in the healthcare sector (ophthalmology, clinic management, or operations management).
  • Sound knowledge of process optimization and patient management.
  • Ability to manage challenges in a dynamic environment with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in billing and financial analysis.
  • Local flexibility within Spain and willingness to travel.
  • Business fluency in Spanish and English.

Salary Estimate

€60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
