Job Title: R&D Engineer

At Ansys, we are seeking a talented R&D Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing cloud-enabled Ansys web apps on top of the Ansys simulation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems by collaborating with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and achieve development objectives.
  • Participate in modern software development practices to design, implement, and validate new features.
  • Work alongside software developers during the design, implementation, and verification process.
  • Investigate defects in production code and write scripts to run testing responsibilities via unit or automated tests.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Computer Science with academic experience in programming using Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Value-oriented, self-motivated, fast learner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • English C1 Minimum.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in computer science is a plus.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio and Software Configuration management tools (GIT).
  • Knowledge of or experience with Agile and DevOps processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and test-driven development.
