Join Our Team as a BAW R&D Modeling Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled BAW R&D Modeling Engineer to join our team at Qorvo. As a member of our Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) R&D team, you will be responsible for improving the understanding of the underlying physics of BAW devices, translating findings into novel BAW designs, and developing acoustic models for our cutting-edge BAW devices.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical acoustics and wave propagation in solids, as well as good programming skills in languages such as Matlab. Proficiency in English is also required, as you will be working closely with US teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve device models for BAW devices
  • Collaborate with process and design engineering teams to develop next-generation BAW technology
  • Work closely with US teams to ensure successful project execution
Requirements
  • PhD degree in physics, mechanical / electrical engineering, or related fields
  • Strong background in physical acoustics and wave propagation in solids
  • Good programming skills in languages such as Matlab
  • Proficiency in English
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in BAW / SAW or other MEMS / acoustic devices
  • Experience with FEM tools (e.g., COMSOL)
  • Knowledge on piezoelectricity
  • Knowledge in material physics
  • Understanding of electrical circuit analysis
  • Familiar with semiconductor processing techniques
