Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BAW R&D Modeling Engineer to join our team at Qorvo, Inc. in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) R&D team, you will be responsible for improving the understanding of device physics and developing novel BAW designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve acoustic models for cutting-edge BAW devices
  • Collaborate with process and design engineering teams to develop next-generation BAW technology
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve device performance and diversify product spectrum
  • Work closely with US teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • PhD degree in physics, mechanical/electrical engineering, or related fields
  • Strong background in physical acoustics and wave propagation in solids
  • Good programming skills in languages such as Matlab
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience in BAW/SAW or other MEMS/acoustic devices
  • Experience with FEM tools (e.g., COMSOL)
  • Knowledge in material physics
  • Understanding of electrical circuit analysis
  • Familiar with semiconductor processing techniques
