About the Role

As a R&D Engineer trainee, you'll support a team focused on democratizing engineering simulation by building cloud-enabled Ansys web apps on top of our simulation products. You'll collaborate with expert professionals to understand customer requirements and achieve development objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a growing code base centered in Python.
  • Participate in modern software development practices to design, implement, and validate new features.
  • Work alongside software developers during the design, implementation, and verification process.
  • Investigate defects in production code.
  • Write scripts to run testing responsibilities via unit or automated tests.
Requirements

We're looking for a BSc in Computer Science with academic experience in programming using Python. You should be available to sign a Contrato formativo para la obtención de la práctica profesional and have excellent problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and English C1 minimum are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications

A master's degree in computer science is a plus. Experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio and Software Configuration management tools (GIT) is also desirable. Knowledge of or experience with Agile and Dev Ops processes and tools is a bonus.
