Job Title: Senior R&D Modeling Engineer

Qorvo is seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Modeling Engineer to join our Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and improving device modeling and device physics to enhance our BAW devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve the understanding of the underlying physics of BAW devices
  • Translate findings into novel BAW designs
  • Develop acoustic models for cutting-edge BAW devices

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in physics, mechanical/electrical engineering, or related fields
  • Strong background in physical acoustics and wave propagation in solids
  • Good programming skills in languages such as Matlab

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in BAW/SAW or other MEMS/acoustic devices
  • Knowledge of piezoelectricity and material physics

Work Environment:

The position is located in our Qorvo Barcelona office in Spain and requires good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, as the candidate will be working closely with US teams.
