Job Title: BAW R&D Modeling Engineer

Qorvo, a leading semiconductor solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled R&D Modeling Engineer to join our Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing acoustic models for our cutting-edge BAW devices and collaborating with process and design engineering groups to advance our next-generation BAW technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve the understanding of the underlying physics of BAW devices
  • Translate findings into novel BAW designs
  • Develop acoustic models for BAW devices
Requirements:
  • PhD degree in physics, mechanical/electrical engineering, or related fields
  • Strong background in physical acoustics and wave propagation in solids
  • Good programming skills in languages such as Matlab
  • Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in BAW/SAW or other MEMS/acoustic devices
  • Knowledge of piezoelectricity and material physics
  • Familiarity with semiconductor processing techniques
