About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vendor Manager to join our EU Pets team. As a key member of our Consumables division, you will be responsible for developing categories and vendor relationships across EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the business owner for your category, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business.
  • Manage all key vendor relationships in your category, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, and negotiations.
  • Understand industry trends, seasonality, and business developments, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
  • Identify selection expansion opportunities and work with partner teams to onboard new brands to Amazon.
  • Have an understanding of customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and improve the shopping experience.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external teams, while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be fluent in Italian and based in Milan in order to be able to adequately manage the vendor base with specific language requirements.
  • Excel experience.
  • Experience in account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
