Global Performance Optimization Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Performance Optimization Lead to join our team at HP. As a key member of our Digital GTM Performance Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for leading and driving the performance optimization efforts to new levels.
In this role, you will spearhead the Performance Center of Excellence, overseeing the ideation, prioritization, planning, execution, and delivery of projects designed to achieve and exceed industry benchmarks for page performance.
You will collaborate closely with data analysts, developers, and designers as well as functional teams such as Product management, SEO, Experimentation, and Sales Merchandising to focus on improving and continuously optimizing the Google Core Web Vitals for HP's online stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage projects related to web page performance optimization, from conception through to completion.
- Conduct and coordinate performance analysis and testing to identify areas for further improvement and define and implement solutions at scale.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web performance optimization.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Project Management and ideally eCommerce Product Management.
- Proven track record or ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of front-end web technologies and content optimization techniques.
- Experience with performance analysis tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, WebPage Test, or similar.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively, influence others, leading without authority in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.
