Sales Specialist UPS Role Overview

This position plays a vital role within the Electrification Business Area in Spain, driving sales volumes and margins. As a UPS Sales and Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, aligning with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Work with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities with the wider sales team.
  • Determine effective solutions for customers based on your knowledge of their needs and ABB's solutions.
  • Monitor customer and market trends with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in UPS products sales.
  • A sound knowledge of UPS-Uninterruptible Power Supply and the electrical sector market.
  • Knowledge of electricity, sales management, and CRM tools.
  • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • An electrical technical background; an engineering degree is valuable.
  • Fluent Spanish and medium-high English language proficiency.
  • A valid driving license in Spain.
