About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Avolta. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication between headquarters and regional offices, implementing operational strategies to enhance performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic and operational roles. You will be responsible for monitoring new operative implementations, supporting ad-hoc requirements from Group Retail Operations, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate effective communication between headquarters and regional offices
  • Ensure the operational strategy is understood and implemented in each country
  • Monitor macroeconomic conditions and their impact on retail strategies
  • Implement new strategic objectives in line with company guidelines
  • Draft and validate global implementation plans
  • Lead the implementation of these plans and validate preliminary results
  • Develop and validate tracking tools to monitor progress and effectiveness
  • Support operational committees and follow up on their initiatives
  • Ensure the Retail Operations Community adheres to established policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in strategic and operational roles
  • Strong managerial and analytical skills
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and change management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with visual reporting tools (Power BI)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and nurture a shared vision and build a cohesive team
  • Ability to select the right talent and mentor individuals inside the organization
  • Effective team leadership, with a focus on supporting and encouraging team members to achieve high performance
  • Comprehensive understanding of multi-category retail operations
  • Strong business development capabilities
