About the Role
As a Business Controller R&D, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our R&D business unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal control processes to ensure financial information accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate finance guidelines.
- Provide financial support to business teams, facilitating healthy debates and ensuring financial rigor in discussions.
- Monitor and report on R&D costs, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly accruals, bookings, and payments.
- Participate in business case development for external funding and subsidies, ensuring documentation and justification.
- Collaborate with Project Management on business case development for new projects and portfolio review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar field, with MBA or postgraduate training an advantage.
- Advanced user of SAP, BO, and MS Office, with expertise in Excel.
- Proactive, analytical, methodical, and organized, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good English skills, with preferred knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector.
