RINA is currently recruiting for a Spain Non Certification Lead Auditor to join its office in Madrid within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

The role focuses on ensuring that clients' processes and systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements through comprehensive audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the audit program.
  • Assign and lead the audit team.
  • Verify customer documents and technical documents.
  • Plan and conduct audits.
  • Identify and document audit results.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports.
  • Follow up on audit results and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and approve certification decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and certifications.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and audit records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a lead auditor role for non-food certification.
  • Lead Auditor certification for relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • In-depth understanding of non-food certification standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently for on-site audits.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to manage audit teams and interact effectively with clients.
