Job Summary

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Certification Lead Auditor to join its team in Spain. As a key member of our Certification Europe Region Division, you will be responsible for ensuring that clients' processes and systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements through comprehensive audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage audit programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assign and lead audit teams to conduct on-site audits.
  • Review and verify client documents, technical documents, and other relevant information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Plan and conduct audits, including interviews and note-taking.
  • Identify and document audit findings, including non-conformities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports to clients.
  • Follow up on audit results, including non-conformities and corrective actions.
  • Conduct technical reviews of client files and make certification decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client and audit information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Quality Management, or Environmental Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a lead auditor role for non-food certification.
  • Lead Auditor certification for relevant standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of non-food certification standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently for on-site audits.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to manage audit teams and interact effectively with clients.
