About the RoleWe're seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our team in Barcelona. As a mixed methods user researcher, you'll report into a Principal UX Researcher and operate within our DIY domain framework. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Research Specialist: leading your own research projects end-to-end, supporting human-centered design processes, and creating high-quality user experiences.
- Coach / Trainer: supporting product teams and members who are conducting their own research via 1-to-1 supports, developing and delivering trainings, and building resources for scaling user research.
- Advisor: leveraging insights and knowledge to advise decision-making, growing multidisciplinary knowledge about users to prioritize and plan with product teams.
You'll be responsible for working closely with product teams and the Principal User Researcher to plan and run research projects, including defining clear problem statements, framing project goals, and selecting appropriate methods and tools. You'll also support in recruitment, running/facilitating research activities, analyzing and synthesizing data, and sharing findings.
Your BackgroundTo succeed in this role, you should have a keen understanding of when to leverage generative vs. evaluative research. Experience in user research, product design, and adjacent fields like behavioral science is essential. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in using various research tools and methods are also required.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary (€80,000 - €120,000 per year), depending on experience, as well as benefits such as flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
