Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Hotel Manager to join our management development program at Barcelo Hotel Group. As a Deputy Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in the hotel's operations, reporting directly to the Hotel Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Organize, direct, and coordinate all actions delegated by the Hotel Director, focusing on promotion, sales, advertising, and public relations for the hotel.
- Leadership and Team Management: Convene regular meetings to inform, be informed, or discuss day-to-day issues with the different departments of the hotel. Coordinate and supervise the work of the different heads of departments.
- Customer Service: Welcome customers due to their category and ensure the provision of high-quality service.
- Problem-Solving and Compliance: Deal with complaints and claims when necessary, and set up corrective measures by delegation to achieve the targets fixed in the budget.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Deputy Manager in a hotel.
- Education: Academic Degree or technical certificate level, preferably in Tourism, Hotel, or equivalent.
- Language: Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, experience in managing teams, and good commercial skills.
