About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Analyst to join our team at Green Recruitment Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting site feasibility assessments, designing measurement campaigns, and optimizing site designs for solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site feasibility assessments to determine the potential for solar energy production
- Design and specify measurement campaigns to collect data on site conditions
- Define site constraints and optimize site designs to maximize energy yield
- Perform pre-construction energy yield assessments for solar projects
- Review and challenge third-party energy yield assessment reports
- Support the tendering process for third-party energy yield analyses
- Develop and maintain energy analysis methodologies, processes, and tools
- Provide technical support to regional development teams
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in solar energy yield analysis
- Track record in a renewable energy project development company or technical advisory/consulting industry
- Experience in managing client/external stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency with industry software tools, such as Pvsyst, Meteonorm, PvDesign, PVcase, Rstudio, and Python
- High level of proficiency with Excel, visual basic, and macro writing experience
- Degree qualification in engineering, physics, maths, meteorology, or similar
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish
