About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at Amadeus. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive our business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Gathering and Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems, and clean and preprocess the data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  2. Business Intelligence and Reporting: Utilize Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or Qlik, to create meaningful reports and dashboards that provide insights into our business operations.
  3. SQL and Data Analysis: Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases, and perform in-depth structured and unstructured data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations to support their goals, and effectively communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
  5. Ad Hoc Analysis and Data Quality: Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by the business to address specific questions or concerns, and implement data quality checks and processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
About the Ideal Candidate
  1. Education and Experience: University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience, and professional experience as an analyst in a data and analytics domain with excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
  2. Technical Skills: Fluency in English, experience with statistical analysis and data modeling, and knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  3. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work with large and complex datasets, and excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data findings.
