Job Purpose

As a Sales Development Intern at Sony Corporation, you will work closely with our Sales Managers and Key Account Managers on various commercial activities, gaining valuable experience in the field. Your tasks will be diverse and dependent on ongoing projects, allowing you to develop a range of skills.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Product Database Management
    • Ensuring new product models are added to our customer database, complete with detailed information, references, and customer-specific data.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date product data in the customer database.
    • Communicating effectively with customers regarding product updates and changes.
    • Coordinating with the Sales Support Organization to ensure timely registration of product updates.
  • Sell-Out Team Support
    • Consolidating pricing and product information for customer visibility over the next four weeks.
    • Developing a promotional plan for the next four weeks.
    • Preparing a street price estimation excel sheet for Sell-out team store visits.
    • Utilizing standard communication templates for assigned accounts.
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • Business, Marketing, or Finance degree or equivalent experience.
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
    • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
    • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and determined to achieve goals.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and audiences.
    • Proficiency in SAP, BW, Excel, and PowerPoint.
