Job Description

Our mission, as pioneers in the identification of algorithmic vulnerabilities and AI-powered technology, is to protect people in technology processes.

We promote the use of responsible technology and algorithmic auditing to equip AI solutions so that they identify and mitigate bias, promote fairness and obtain more accurate results.

We have been awarded with several grants from the Horizon program of the European Commission and would like to incorporate one team member to our Project team.

Job Role

As Head of Projects, you will plan and participate in our socio-technical research projects and proposals (combining social science, statistics, data protection, algorithmic auditing, security, etc.) where we focus on ethical technology.

You will participate in projects mostly within the framework of the European Commission Horizon Programme, collaborating with consortia of multiple public and private sector partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Project Leadership:
    Lead and design qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, ethical frameworks, and policy impact assessments.
  2. Collaboration and Communication:
    Maintain strong relations with clients and partners, ensuring seamless knowledge-sharing and satisfaction.
  3. Project Oversight:
    Manage data management plans, ethical standards, and fieldwork coordination, producing rigorous content with maximum impact.
  4. Proposal Development:
    Lead and contribute to proposal creation, aligning project objectives with funding and business opportunities.
  5. Representation and Dissemination:
    Present findings to consortia, stakeholders, and the wider community, ensuring high visibility for Eticas' work.

This means participating in project meetings, occasionally traveling and representing Eticas in those projects where you are a team member or project lead.
