About the Role

This is a pivotal position within Amazon's logistics network, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Delivery Service Partners. As a Senior Capacity Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing robust capacity plans to align with dynamic customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Capacity Planning: Develop and execute capacity plans to ensure efficient operation of our Delivery Service Partners.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to scope out new solutions and drive improvements.
  3. Data Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform business decisions and drive operational performance.
  4. Programme Management: Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programmes.
  5. Reporting: Act as the single source of truth for reporting on OTR demand.
About the Team

The SEU Delivery Service Partner team is responsible for managing and growing the network of providers that power Amazon's in-house last mile delivery service. Our partners work out of delivery stations across various regions and are assigned delivery routes and packages.

The French & Spanish On The Road (OTR) Capacity Planning team is central to achieving the program objectives of DSP Last Mile Delivery. This team charts the strategy and plan to build OTR capacity across the delivery network on a short-term and midterm basis.

Requirements
  1. Education: A degree is required.
  2. Experience: Relevant experience communicating with and influencing a range of different stakeholders, including senior management.
  3. Data Analysis: Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  4. Programme Management: Relevant experience in managing large-scale programmes or projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Supply Chain Experience: Relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment.
  2. Operational Improvement: Experience in conceptualising and implementing operational or supply-chain management improvements.
  3. Data Management: Relevant experience with data management tools, e.g. SQL.
  4. Language Skills: Proficiency in written and verbal French.
