About the Role

Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Capacity Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our On the Road (OTR) Capacity Planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute robust capacity plans for our Delivery Service Partners (DSP) to align with dynamic customer demand.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to scope out new solutions and drive improvements across a range of teams and organisations.
  • Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programmes, seeing them through from start to finish.
  • Enhance operational performance of OTR capacity plans in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in the organisation.
About the Team

The SEU Delivery Service Partner (DSP) team is responsible for managing and growing the network of providers that power Amazon's in-house last mile delivery service. Our partners work out of delivery stations across France, Italy, Spain and Belgium and are assigned delivery routes and packages.

The French & Spanish On The Road (OTR) Capacity Planning team is central to achieving the program objectives of DSP Last Mile Delivery. This team charts the strategy and plan to build OTR capacity across the delivery network on a short-term and midterm basis.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience communicating with and influencing a range of different stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Relevant experience in managing large-scale programmes or projects.

Preferred qualifications include relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment, experience in conceptualising and implementing operational or supply-chain management improvements, and proficiency in written and verbal French.
