Job Summary

The Operations Finance Specialist will provide operational finance support to the EMEA Finance Team, driving strategic decision making through financial data analysis. This role will assist in building and providing ongoing financial metrics to refine business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly/quarterly financial and operational reporting activities
  • Assist in product costing, inventory management, and margin reviews
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for executive management and department leaders
  • Develop and implement new procedures and systems to enhance department workflows
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's operations, products, and cost drivers
  • Support the company's SOX program, including documentation, testing, and recommendations for internal control process changes
  • Develop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to achieve department and business objectives
  • Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred
  • Five or more years of related work experience, including experience within manufacturing operations
  • Financial systems ERP experience
  • Cost Accounting experience
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
  • Excellent follow-through
  • Must be driven and self-motivated
  • Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality
