Job Title: International Operations Director

SmartRental Group is a dynamic company dedicated to the operation and management of properties for the tourism and catering sector. We are seeking an experienced International Operations Director to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of all hotels in the assigned geographical area.
  • Ensure and improve performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.
  • Lead, direct, and manage daily hotel operations, including hotel yearly budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, managing reviews performance, implementing and complying with company policies and standards.
  • Coordinate capital improvements and property improvement plans, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve concerns.
  • Oversee service quality level, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, SOPs, and service compliance, including financial measurements and auditing.
  • Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficiencies.
  • Partner closely with the COO and work accordingly to the departmental guidelines and priorities.
  • Implement and manage hotel's daily quality process, including communicating goals, empowering team members, managing service recovery techniques, and problem resolution, and measuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly hotel managers and hotel departmental managers, including providing supervision, professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards.
  • Control operating expenses of hotels accounts and propose corrective initiatives.
  • Monitor PLs and STR reports.
Requirements:
  • Hospitality management or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years' experience with international hotel chains.
  • 2-year multi-property management experience.
  • Knowledge of PMS and POS.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, additional languages are a plus.
  • Driving license B.
  • Flexibility to travel.
