About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to join our team at Alstom in Madrid. As a key member of our Digital and Information Services (DIS) Business Unit, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic and operational HR solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an effective Business Partner by developing and implementing HR solutions that align with our company's overall strategy.
  • Responsible for deploying HR policies and processes in an optimized manner, ensuring compliance with Alstom's HR guidelines.
  • Support the Managing Director in leading the business strategy by advising on key HR topics.
  • Develop and drive efficient implementation of global and local HR processes, policies, and tools for the DIS business.
  • Lead the negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) for the Business Unit and manage relations with labor authorities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to design team structures and annual budgets.
Requirements
  • University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Studies, Social Science, or Economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role as HR Generalist in a professional, multinational, and multicultural environment.
  • Working knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection, staff planning, and labor cost budgeting.
  • Solid understanding of HR Management tools, policies, and processes, as well as local labor laws.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
